May 2006 — Eiger Capital to Manage Orion Global Synthetic

Eiger Capital has been hired to manage Orion Global Synthetic, a $1 billion globally-syndicated synthetic CDO of investment grade credit default swaps. Orion Global Synthetic was arranged by Credit Suisse and has issued notes covering the full spectrum of the capital structure. The mezzanine notes attached to the performance of the portfolio benifit from additional rating stability in the event of credit rating deterioration through a subordination step-up feature, a major innovation in the CDO market pioneered by Credit Suisse and Eiger Capital.
